Toledo

Toledo is one of the most emblematic cities in Spain, located in the center of the Iberian Peninsula. Known as the “City of Three Cultures” for having been inhabited by Christians, Jews and Muslims for centuries, Toledo is a unique place full of history.

The city is surrounded by a wall and is accessible via a bridge over the Tajo River, making it an easily accessible place for tourists. One of Toledo’s most popular attractions is its impressive Cathedral of Santa Maria, built in the 13th century and considered one of the best examples of Gothic architecture in Spain.

Another place not to be missed is the church of Santo Tomé, famous for housing “El Greco”, one of the city’s most famous paintings. The church is also an impressive example of Toledo’s Mudejar architecture.

Toledo’s Jewish quarter is one of the oldest and most beautiful areas of the city, with its narrow cobblestone streets and typical houses with internal courtyards. This area is an ideal place to walk and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the old city.
